    Atlantic Health System Representatives

    The meeting was called to order at 8:05 p.m. by President Sue Meyer.

    Emergency Room

    Dr. Espinosa reported that by May 15th there should be 35 beds available; new Fast Track up 1st quarter next year. Dan Sullivan and Howie Meyer mentioned that the new ambulance entrance way/turnaround may pose a problem with the brick wall. Dr Espinosa asked that we get back to him with our thoughts on the design. The parking area is still a problem with cars parking there; Summit PD has been handling some of the complaints

    Nursing

    Dr Espinosa reported for Linda Kosnick that she is working to fill all nursing positions in the ER. It was questioned whether the charge nurse could be identified as squad come into the ER. It is on her list.

    AED

    Sue Meyer has the name of the gentleman to contact re: new computer or an upgrade for the computer

    Cencom

    Gareth reported that Cencom is still waiting on the FCC for the license. If the HEAR is not working and you need to call in; use a cell phone at 522-2232 or go thru Cencom

    Mobilization

    Frank reminded everyone of the Nights at the Airport. He also reminded us that Cencom is the coordinating agency for dispatch when outside squads are needed. EMS Mass is in Newark on April 25th. He also thanked Cencom for the calls and coordination of squads during the increased alert.

    Training

    No Report

    EMS dinner at Overlook is Wednesday, May 19th. All squads should have received an invitation. Please respond and attend. The DOH dinner is also in May.

    Next meeting is Wednesday, May 12th at 8:00 p.m. Meeting adjourned at 8:50 p.m.
