    Meeting called to order at 8:10 p.m. by President Sue Meyer.

    No changes noted.

    Emergency Room Update

    Sharon Kelly reported that Medivac has moved to Somerset County. FastTrack in ER closed - Rooms 5-9 now being used. Should be done April/May. HEAR radio is installed but not working; waiting for Gareth for training - will notify Sue Meyer when it's operational. The Squad Room was discussed; Sharon will speak with the contractor regarding enlarging the room. The divert status/situation was discussed - it all depends on census, staffing and discharge of patients. The Supply Room was discussed - the code is 6230. Please replace items one for one!

    Dr. Itzcovitz reported that there is triple physician coverage during peak hours (11 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.) in the ER; double coverage in the Peds unit 2-10 p.m. There are several new physicians now.

    Cencom

    No report.

    Mobilization

    It was reported that TopOff was proceeding with a small level of EMS participation. Golf Outing - being coordinated by Springfield/County OEM. Meeting tentatively set for April 20th in Springfield.

    Training/MICU

    Deborah introducte Dave Peterson, new ALS coordinator. He is the first line contact for the MICU. Overlook is restructuring the EMS/Transport. New people in new positions. She will sent out more info as it becomes available re: names of people.

    Old Business

    Howie Meyer mentioned the Emergency Health Powers Act - some amendments are being entered regarding OEM concerns. If you have CEU problems with the DOH, see Howie.

    Nominating Committee: For 2005: Sue Meyer, President; Dan Sullivan Vice President; Mary Paskow, Secretary. To be voted on at the May 11th meeting. No other nominations were offered from the floor. Nominations closed.

    New Business

    The death of Bill Cooper, Chatham Squad was mentioned. Carl Loehman discussed standardizing squad run forms. Bill Mueller, Chatham mentioned a problem with Ryan White forms and the infection control dept. Sue Meyer will get a list of the contact people from the squads and forward to Sharon Kelly to disperse to the infection control dept.

    Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at 8:00 p.m. in the fifth floor conference room at Overlook. Sue asked about the Annual EMS Dinner - Sharon will find out
